Ryan Branch

Attorney

Attorney Ryan Branch is a family law attorney who focuses on complex, high-stakes cases involving significant assets, business interests, and contested custody matters. He represents clients facing some of the most stressful and life-altering moments they will ever experience, and he approaches each case with focus, compassion, and a clear strategy.

At Mueller Family Law Group, Ryan’s days often involve drafting detailed pleadings and documents, attempting to negotiate with opposing counsel, preparing for court, and guiding clients step by step through what can feel like an overwhelming process. A key part of his work is making sure clients truly understand what is happening in their case so they can make informed, confident decisions.

Before joining the firm, Attorney Branch ran his own practice and previously worked at a firm known for handling complex financial family law matters. He chose Mueller Family Law Group because he wanted to continue doing high-level legal work within a collaborative team that shares his standards for preparation, professionalism, and client care.

His path to family law is unique. Before becoming an attorney, he spent ten years in the United States Air Force as a cryptologic Spanish linguist, including work with NSA/CSS Texas. That position was demanding, requiring accountability and the ability to perform under pressure without cutting corners, which are both skills that now define his legal practice. He also holds a degree in real estate finance, which gives him an analytical advantage when dealing with issues like business ownership, retirement accounts, and hidden or complex assets during a divorce.

Attorney Ryan Branch was drawn to law because he wanted to solve problems that genuinely matter. Family law stood out for its combination of legal complexity and real human stakes. He continues this work because he values seeing clients move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling informed and in control of their future.

His approach is straightforward and grounded. He begins by listening carefully, then provides honest, direct advice about what Texas law realistically allows. He sets clear expectations from the start, emphasizing that outcomes depend on the specific facts of each case, so clients never have to worry about being misled or misinformed. Clients appreciate his calm demeanor and practical guidance during emotionally charged situations.

Integrity, attention to detail, and follow-through guide everything he does. He believes professionalism and preparation often achieve better results than unnecessary aggression, but he does not hesitate to advocate firmly when the situation calls for it. With his approach to family law casework, Attorney Ryan Branch has earned recognition from Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ (2021 through 2025).

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking, tackling DIY home projects, gardening, and keeping up with new technology.

“Calm is the strategy. Family law is emotional. I’m not. That’s the point.” – Attorney Ryan Branch
